The Edmonton Oilers may have yet another injury to worry about. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is missing from the bench as the team battles and dominates with a 3-0 lead over the Florida Panthers. He will not return to tonight’s game.
After taking a shot block on the penalty kill, Nugent-Hopkins appeared to show an injury, and skated off the ice, limping a bit.
Reports are currently scattered. Some say that Nuge may have suffered what looks like a hand injury (slash possible), while others say that it was the block. Either way, Nugent-Hopkins has not returned. Nothing has been said at this time.
