In the world of professional hockey, a win is a win. For a team like the Edmonton Oilers, it helps bring some positivity and optimism in the grand scheme of things. It’s not easy winning on the road and in a short, 56-game regular season, every team needs to be diligent in doing whatever it takes to win hockey games.
Of course, all eyes were on the Oilers when they faced the Toronto Maple Leafs for the first time this season a few days ago. The Oilers hit the road to Scotiabank Arena and with the odds against them, took care of business and won 3-1.
