LAKELAND, Fla. — Christopher Ilitch, Detroit Tigers fan, reported to spring training on Saturday morning.
Ilitch has been coming to Tiger Town for quite some time, tagging along with his father, Mike, the late team owner, for years. For the past few years, his son, Travis — a high school baseball player — has carried on that family tradition.
This year, Ilitch — the most important Tigers fan, as team president and CEO — spoke excitedly about the team’s progress in rebuilding over just a couple years.
