Last week, we examined the off-season moves that have already paid early dividends for several NHL clubs this season.
Not every trade or free-agent signing, however, has panned out as hoped. The New Jersey Devils have yet to receive their money's worth for acquiring P.K. Subban from the Nashville Predators. Meanwhile, the Dallas Stars are still waiting for production from free-agent signing Joe Pavelski.
