Spotlight on Mitch Marner:
The second-year Maple Leafs forward, 20, has played in all 48 games and is tied will fellow youngster William Nylander, 21, for second in team scoring with 32 points. Marner was selected by Toronto with the fourth pick of the 2015 draft, after a prolific three-year career with major junior’s London Knights. Toronto’s top three scorers are lottery picks, including 2016 No. 1 overall Auston Matthews, 20, who leads the Leafs with 20 goals and 35 points despite missing 10 games with two injuries.
