Until then, there is still a lot to talk about. Just as always, Ryan O’Reilly is a big topic, as the Colorado Avalanche may still elect to trade him — perhaps to the Carolina Hurricanes? Furthermore, Lightning assistant George Gwozdecky is leaving the sunny state of Florida and may be an option for the Avs.
Good news is that Erik Johnson seems to be completely healthy again, so that we can go back to a somewhat good defense next season, even if no improvements are joining the team.
