Report: LeBron James and Kyrie Irving Having "Intrateam War"

Cavaliers All-Stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are having an "intrateam war", according to a report from ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

The two supposedly exchanged words in the locker room following Cleveland's blowout loss to the Portland Trail Blazers in an confrontation that ended with Irving storming out.

James had expressed concerns about how Cleveland's offense was playing after scoring only 11 points against the Blazers, and addressed the way Irving was dominating the ball.

"There's a lot of bad habits, a lot of bad habits been built up the past couple years," James said after the loss. "When you play that style of basketball, it takes a lot to get it up out of you."

Their feud seemed to spill over into their loss to the Jazz Wednesday night, where Irving scored 34 points but did not have a single assist. He has now gone six quarters without an assist.

"For us it was a growing process that we have to go through," said Irving. "It sucks right now. For us, we're still young and I'm still learning what's going on."

Cleveland recorded a franchise-low six assists against Utah, four of which came from LeBron.

"You just can't explain [it]. There's no way you're going to win a basketball game like that, just having six assists. ... We just can't win like that and we got to figure out a way to help each other and not make it so tough."

The Cavaliers are 1-3 on the season, and have their next matchup against the Nuggets in Denver on Friday.
