How many teams out there, right now, are facing ultra-long championship droughts, despite putting together remarkable teams? In the NHL alone, I can think of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, and Phladelphia Flyers, all of whom have 50-year droughts (at the very least) without a championship.
