Sam Kerr and Rachel Daly named among six nominees for PFA Players' Player of the Year as they do battle in historic World Cup semi-final between England and Australia

Rachel Daly and Sam Kerr are among six nominees for the PFA Players' Player of the Year Award - and will do battle later today as England face Australia in the women's World Cup semi-final.

Alongside Daly and last year's winner Kerr, Ona Batlle, Frida Maanum, Guro Reiten and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw are the nominees.

Chelsea are well-represented with Kerr and Reiten after recording a WSL and FA Cup double for the third consecutive season alongside reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Maanum has earned her place after Arsenal won the League Cup and also reached the last four of Europe's premier competition.
