Matildas captain Sam Kerr is taking no chances in her defence of a criminal charge in the UK, enlisting the services of glamourous 'rising star' barrister Grace Forbes, who helped expose the fraudulent operations of fashion label Boohoo.
As revealed exclusively by the Mail, Kerr has been charged with racially aggravated harassment of a police officer and entered a not guilty plea on March 4.
She will now face a four-day criminal trial before a jury next February.
Kerr stands accused of abusing a police constable following a dispute over a taxi fare and allegations she vomited inside the vehicle after scoring a hattrick for Chelsea that same day.
