Martin Necas had an incredible run from late October to mid-November. The Hurricanes rookie amassed 15 points in 20 games during that span. After that, Necas had a lower-body injury that sidelined him for a few games.
After returning to the lineup, Necas didn’t seem like himself. He went on a point drought for eight games straight.
Once his original linemate, Erik Haula returned to the lineup with him, things started to click. Necas finally broke through in the home game against the Florida Panthers with an assist, the following game he had a monster night with two goals and two assists against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
