OTTAWA — If you were looking for fighting words between the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins before the Eastern final gets under way Saturday, Canadian Tire Centre was the wrong place to be Thursday morning.
Nope, there was nothing but respect.
While Ottawa and Pittsburgh have a playoff history with four series that stretch all the way back to when they first met the last time the Senators advanced to the East final in 2007, the players took the high road when it came to discussing the Penguins as they met with the media on what was a full off-day for most.
