Highlight Of The Night: Sharp Angle Sean

The Flames fell behind the Maple Leafs early on the in the first period and needed an answer and fast. Just a little over four minutes after Jake Muzzin put the Leafs up 1-0, Sean Monahan would get the equalizer. After some solid chances in the Toronto end, Monahan would find himself on the door step of Jack Campbell’s goal and deposit a rebound of his own shot past the Toronto keeper to tie the game at 1-1. Monahan didn’t have much to work with, but a quick stick and a rocket shot were all he needed to put the puck in the net.
