Calgary Flames (16-20-3, 35 pts) - Toronto Maple Leafs (25-10-3, 53 pts)
Whether you believe it’s the core players or the coaching or a combination of the two, something is certainly rotten with the Calgary Flames. Sunday night the good guys played well for around 40 minutes, but fell apart when it came time to produce and lost to the Maple Leafs 4-2. The Flames have now lost three in a row and eight of their last 10. The playoffs are clearly not in the Flames future, despite what one Flames broadcaster still wants you to believe and now it’s root for draft position (feel the sarcasm).
