Flames Drop Fourth Straight, Fall To Toronto 5-3

The Flames were looking to snap a three game losing streak against the Maple Leafs Monday night, but couldn’t get the job done. Calgary battled all night long in an attempt to get two points yet their effort just wasn’t enough as they fell 5-3 to the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Saddledome. To add insult to injury, the Montreal Canadiens were 3-2 winners in OT over the Edmonton Oilers, putting Calgary six points behind the Habs who also have five games in hand.

There’s not much that can be said about the Flames that hasn’t been said already a million times.
