Buffalo Sabres Evander Kane Out For Rest Of Season

Just a day after the Buffalo Sabres announced that goaltender Robin Lehner had season-ending surgery, the team has lost another player.

This time, it’s forward Evander Kane who will now be out for the rest of the season.

Kane wasn’t at the team’s practice Thursday morning ahead of their game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

After practice, Buffalo Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma announced the Kane has an upper-body injury.

That injury carries with it a recovery timeline of between three and four weeks, which would be roughly the end of April.
