Joseph Woll to Make NHL Debut Tonight for Toronto Maple Leafs

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Former Boston College goaltender Joseph Woll will make his National Hockey League debut tonight for the Toronto Maple Leafs in Buffalo.

Woll will become the 80th former Eagle to play in the NHL and the eighth goaltender (Scott Clemmenson, Thatcher Demko, Scott Gordon, Spencer Knight, David Littman, Cory Schneider and Paul Skidmore).

He also becomes the third goaltender to make his NHL debut since March of 2018 when Thatcher Demko entered the league with the Vancouver Canucks. Spencer Knight made his NHL debut for the Florida Panthers in April.
