A pair of Big 12 contenders will collide Saturday, as the West Virginia Mountaineers pay a visit to Boone Pickens Stadium to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys at noon on Fox.
A bit of an afterthought in the conference heading into this season, West Virginia has emerged as a possible College Football Playoff dark horse with its 6-0 start.
The Mountaineers were not overly impressive in the early part of the season, beating a mediocre group of BYU, Kansas State, Missouri and Youngstown State all by less than 20 points. Yet, the team is surging with a pair of dominant Big 12 wins, as it took down Texas Tech 48-17 on the road and beat TCU 34-10 last week.
