Sam Kerr and Rachel Daly named among six nominees for PFA Players' Player of the Year as they do battle in World Cup semi-final... as Lionesses dominate Young Player hopefuls

Rachel Daly and Sam Kerr are among six nominees for the PFA Players' Player of the Year Award - and could do battle later today as England face Australia in the women's World Cup semi-final, with Kerr 'available' after her injury.

Alongside Daly and last year's winner Kerr, Ona Batlle, Frida Maanum, Guro Reiten and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw are the nominees.

Meanwhile, young Lionesses Lauren Hemp, Lauren James, and Katie Robinson comprise half the hopefuls for the Young Player of the Season Award - as Hemp bids to win for the fourth consecutive and fifth time overall.
