Arizona Cardinals fans have been wondering about the status of linebacker Daryl Washington. Finally, we get at least something of an answer.
Fox Sports Radio 910's Mike Jurecki reported Friday he exchanged texts with the suspended linebacker. Washington reportedly plans on being ready for training camp and, at least in terms of his future in the NFL, he is "confident that something will work out."
Jurecki also states Washington hasn't yet heard from the league about his current suspension.
This tells us a couple of things.
One, he has in fact applied for reinstatement.
