The pass rusher could drop in the draft and the team wants to make sure it does its homework.
Nebraska's Randy Gregory is considered one of the draft's top pass rushing prospects. He also comes with some concerns. He has had positive drug tests while in college and also failed his drug test at the NFL Combine. His draft stock has fallen a bit.
As such, according to Ian Rapoport, Gregory met with the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. He was never expected to be available at No. 24 when the Cardinals will select in the first round, but recent reports have him slipping, so the team naturally is doing its homework in case he is available when the Cardinals are on the clock.
