Ducks fall to Maple Leafs, 6-5, in overtime

The Anaheim Ducks rallied from three goals down to take a lead midway through the third period, but eventually fell to the host Toronto Maple Leafs, 6-5, in overtime Thursday night.

Nazem Kadri scored 41 seconds into overtime to give the Maple Leafs the win.

Anaheim had taken a 5-4 lead 8:17 into the third period on a goal by Brandon Pirri. The Ducks had tied the score, 4-4, early in the third period with a goal from Ryan Garbutt.

Before the game, the Ducks announced that Ryan Kesler and Simon Despres returned to Southern California.
