A late lead slipped away Thursday from Zip 'Em Up and so did the chance at a $1 million first-place prize for Xavier's alumni team in The Basketball Tournament.
Zip 'Em Up lost to Florida TNT, 76-72, at Cintas Center in the regional final, ending a nostalgic week for the former Musketeers and their fans.
Four different generations of Xavier basketball teams assembled back at their college home and the fans were there early and stayed late, waiting for autographs and pictures, and the chance to see things they hadn't seen in years from some of their favorite former players.
