NEW YORK - Xavier men's soccer redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Zachary Nelson was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after recording his third shutout of the season on Friday night as the Musketeers played to a 0-0 draw against Oregon State.
On stage in his home state, the West Linn, Ore. native had four saves against the Beavers while facing 19 shots and 12 corners. The shutout performance was his second solo and third shared clean sheet of the season.
Overall, XU has not allowed a goal in 310 minutes of soccer to start the season.
