After a disappointing overtime loss to Butler on Wednesday night in the first round of the Big East Conference Tournament, it looked as if Xavier's postseason pulse was on life support after most bracketologists moved the Musketeers outside the NCAA Tournament field.
On Thursday morning, though, Rick Broering, publisher of Musketeer Report, reported that Xavier's looking to add more games this week ahead of Selection Sunday to try and sneak back into the big dance.
The Enquirer confirmed the Musketeers are looking to try and add more games in the coming days.
As it stands right now, most bracketologists moved Xavier to one of the first four teams out of the NCAA Tournament.
