Former Xavier University guard/forward Kaiser Gates scored 14 points in 15 minutes off the bench - making 5-of-7 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range - for the Chicago Bulls' NBA Summer League team in Tuesday's 101-93 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
Gates added two rebounds and two assists in the game. He hadn't played in either of the Bulls' two previous summer league games.
Gates was one of several eligible Xavier players to go undrafted last month. Gates' Xavier teammate, Trevon Bluiett, scored 50 points through his first two NBA Summer League games for the New Orleans Pelicans.
