Thursday's scheduled game against DePaul at Cintas Center has been postponed due to "COVID-19 considerations," the Big East Conference announced Monday.
It's the third straight postponement for Xavier University's men's basketball team, but according to sources, it was DePaul's decision to not play this game.
Xavier's roster is expected to be cleared by the middle of this week following its third COVID-19 pause, and the Musketeers have been given the green light to pursue additional non-conference games to replace Big East postponements that are unlikely to be rescheduled in the final month of the regular season.
