Xavier University announced Melanie Moore Friday as the Musketeers' new women's basketball coach.
Moore, who takes over for Brian Neal, is the eighth coach in program history and joins Xavier after spending the last seven seasons on the University of Michigan staff, most recently as associate head coach.
"It's a dream job for me," Moore told The Enquirer. "It's a school that has a little bit of everything from my experiences put into one.
