Amid the growing effort to minimize the spread of the novel coronavirus, Xavier University announced Thursday night that all "intercollegiate athletics competitions, camps and clinics have been canceled for the spring semester."
Earlier Thursday the Big East Conference announced the cancelation of all its 2020 spring sports competitions, effective immediately, and the NCAA announced the cancellation of all winter and spring championships.
