CINCINNATI --- As part of their celebration of Black History Month, Xavier University, the Department of Athletics and the IDEA Group are proud to announce a special community event at Cintas Center, a public screening of "The Loyola Project" on Monday, February 28 at 8:00 p.m. The documentary will be shown on Cintas Center's new state-of-the-art HD videoboard.
"The Loyola Project" is a documentary film about the Loyola University Chicago men's basketball team, which won the 1963 NCAA Championship over the University of Cincinnati during the time of the civil rights movement. Xavier University is honored to be one of more than 70 college campuses across the country to be part of the screening series presented by Northwestern Mutual.
