CINCINNATI --- The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a 64-team, $1 million winner-take-all event televised live on the ESPN networks, today announced that for the first time Xavier University will serve as one of the tournament's eight regional locations in 2022. Zip 'Em Up, the school's alumni team, will be the featured team in the Xavier Regional, to be played at the Cintas Center from July 18-21.
"I am always excited when I see our basketball alums back at Cintas Center," said Xavier men's basketball head coach Travis Steele. The chance to bring them back and bring a big basketball event here during the summer makes it even better.
