Cincinnati, Ohio --- Cristina Di Lorenzo, 2017 Xavier University graduate, was named as the 2016-17 BIG EAST Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence Award winner for women's tennis. The awards are given to one student-athlete in each BIG EAST sponsored sport based on academic credentials, athletic achievements, and community service.
In the classroom, Di Lorenzo finished her Xavier career with a bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in International Business and a cumulative GPA of 3.957. She was also the recipient of the Xavier's 2017 Medal of Honor and Excellence in Finance Award and made the dean's list every semester.
