Melanie Moore’s first season as the women’s basketball head coach at Xavier University might best be described as a study in determination.
This past season the Musketeers went 3-27 and even in the midst of double-digit losing streaks, Moore’s positive nature never wavered.
“That’s who I am,” said Moore. “I love the game of basketball and I love teaching the game of basketball. So, even in those hardest days when we lost I don’t even know how many in a row and you’re just thinking, ‘When are we gonna get that next one?
