CHICAGO, Ill. - Xavier starts the weekend off right with a 3-0 victory over SIUE by a score of 25-19, 25-14, 25-20. This was the Musketeers' first meeting with the Cougars.
With the win, Xavier's record moves to 2-2 early on in the season including a sweep of South Carolina State in their regular season opener last weekend.
• Kelly Franxman led all scorers with 12 kills, including six in the first set alone. She finished with a hit percenatge of .632, and added three blocks (one solo) and seven digs.
• Moriah Hopkins tallied eight kills, with Carrigan O' Reilly, and Delaney Hogan close behind with six.
