NASHVILLE – If you're a fan of Xavier basketball, you're probably counting down the hours until Xavier basketball finally takes the court for its first-round NCAA Tournament game against Texas Southern.
It's actually been a pretty long wait.
The Musketeers, the West Region's No. 1 seed play TSU at 7:20 p.m. ET at Bridgestone Arena, making Xavier's game the sixth-to-last of the tournament's entire, 32-game first round.
Factor in the First Four games in Dayton Tuesday and Wednesday and, well, that's a lot of time for the Xavier community to stew over their NCAA Tournament opener.
