PHILADELPHIA – Villanova’s been a tough nut for the Xavier University men's basketball team to crack.
Since the formation of the new Big East Conference (2013-2014 season), Xavier is 1-10 against Villanova and the Victory Parkway men have struggled away from home against the Wildcats, the defending NCAA national champions.
The Musketeers can end that agony on Friday night (8:30 p.m., Fox Sports 1) at Wells Fargo Center.
Villanova has won four straight in the series with a nearly 20-point average margin of victory.
