CHICAGO - Xavier women's basketball fell in the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament on Saturday evening with a 66-42 loss to Seton Hall. Imani Partlow led the Musketeers with nine points and the Musketeers ended the season with a 10-20 overall record.
• Xavier scored the first basket of the game off of a three-pointer by Kindell Fincher, but then Seton Hall outscored Xavier, 14-5 for the rest of the quarter and ended the quarter on a 6-0 run to lead 14-8. The Musketeers were out-rebounded 15-9, but recorded three steals.
