CINCINNATI, OH - In their last nonconference game of the season, Xavier avenged a loss to Northern Kentucky in March with a major victory ar Hayden Field. The game was called in the seventh inning with Xavier holding an 18-7 lead.
The scoring started early as Jerry Huntzinger walked to lead off the game, stole second and then third before getting driven in by Luke Franzoni. Later in the inning, Alex Helmin hit a two-RBI single with the bases loaded to give Xavier a 3-0 advantage.
The Musketeers were just getting started as a nine-run second inning followed.
