NASHVILLE – Xavier basketball hasn't yet booked its stay in the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 but an old friend will be waiting for them if they get there.
The NCAA Tournament West Region's fourth-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs edged fifth-seeded Ohio State Saturday night in Boise, Idaho, securing Gonzaga's progression to the Sweet 16.
Enter Xavier – or Florida State, the top and ninth-seeded teams in the West Region, respectively.
