WASHINGTON D.C. - In their second match of the weekend, Xavier traded points with Georgetown until pulling away in the fourth and never looked back. The Musketeers ultimately came away with the 25-20, 22-25, 24-26, 25-18, 15-10 win.
Xavier is now 3-1 in the BIG EAST and 8-6 overall, while the Hoyas drop to 0-4 in conference play.
• Delaney Hogan was today's kill leader with 13 finishes. Defensively, she had five blocks (1 solo) for 16 points.
• Kelly Franxman matched her strong showing yesterday with another 12 kills and added 16 digs to secure the double-double.
