Xavier beats Creighton in the final minute to advance in the Big East Tournament

NEW YORK – Las Vegas has Xavier as a 2.5-point underdog Thursday against Creighton in a Big East Conference Tournament quarterfinal at Madison Square Garden.

Head coach Travis Steele said sophomore forward Naji Marshall, who's been dealing with a left ankle injury since March 5 at Butler, will play Thursday against Creighton.

Xavier (17-14, 9-9) split the regular-season series with Creighton (18-13, 9-9). The Musketeers have won six of their last seven games and the Bluejays have won five in a row.

Both teams need a win Thursday to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive.
