Xavier's men's basketball team was left out of the NCAA Tournament bracket on Sunday night when it was revealed, but the season isn't over for the Musketeers.
Xavier accepted a spot in the National Invitational Tournament and the Musketeers were assigned a No. 2 seed.
Xavier will host Cleveland State in the first round on either Tuesday or Wednesday at Cintas Center
Dayton's the top seed in Xavier's bracket. Florida's the No. 3 seed and Vanderbilt's No. 4. Dayton will open against Toledo. Florida gets Iona and Vanderbilt gets Belmont.
If Xavier gets by Cleveland State, the Musketeers will play the winner of Florida-Iona in the second round.
