CINCINNATI, OH – Xavier Women's Tennis battled Lipscomb this evening for tis home opener of the 2017-18 season. The Musketeers defeated the Bison 7-0, for the team's second win of the season.
In singles, Xavier swept Lipscomb. At No. 1 singles Freshman Ahmeir Kyle won a thrilling three set match 6-2, 4-6, 10-8. Senior Lauren Ghidotti also went the distance, winning her match in three sets 4-6, 6-2, 0-0 retired. Junior Sophia Abelson moved to 4-0 on the season at No. 3 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
