VILLANOVA, Pa. - Xavier women's tennis opened up BIG EAST Conference play with 7-0 sweep of the Villanova Wildcats. After claiming the doubles point, the Musketeers won all six singles spots in two set to move to 3-2 on the season and 1-0 in BIG EAST play.
"We had a big road win at our very first conference match today," said senior Zoe Manion following the match. "We played strong at every position and I couldn't be prouder of this team. I think this was exactly what we needed to help our confidence going into the rest of the season.
