In a scoreless first half, the Musketeers held the 7-3 advantage on overall shots going into the break, but the Hoyas had a 3-1 advantage on shots on-frame. and each had a pair of shots to lead Xavier, while collected two saves to keep GU scoreless in the first 45 minutes.
