CINCINNATI - Xavier women's soccer continued its best start since 1997 on Sunday, moving to 4-0 after picking put a 2-1 win over Murray State at Corcoran Field.
Xavier took a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals from Shelby Sallee and Sarah Owusu, with the tallies coming less than three minutes apart. Shortly after Owusu's goal, the match was put in a weather delay with 14:26 remaining in the first half with Xavier leading 2-0.
Following a 40 minute delay, the teams finished the rest of the first half scoreless, going into halftime with Xavier leading 2-0.
