CINCINNATI - Xavier women's soccer picked up a sixth-straight shutout and remained unbeaten in BIG EAST action, playing Providence to a 0-0 draw on Thursday evening at Corcoran Field. Xavier moved to 11-2-4 overall and 5-0-3 in league matches.
Xavier held an 8-4 advantage on shots in the first 45 minutes, with two shots each for and to lead the Musketeers, but neither team scored to go into the half in a scoreless draw.
In the second half, Xavier had the 5-3 advantage on shots, including a look from that went off the crossbar, but neither team had a look on frame to finish the game in a scoreless draw.
