FARMVILLE, Va. - Xavier women's lacrosse picks up their second win of the inaugural season on the road with the 16-14 victory over Longwood.
The Musketeers advance to 2-2 (0-0 BIG EAST) while the Lancers fall to 2-2 (0-0 Big South).
Xavier picked up two four-goal scoring runs. The first at the end of the first quarter to secure a 5-4 lead heading into the second quarter. The second at the end of the third quarter through early in the fourth to secure a 15-12 lead heading into the last eight minutes of play.
