NORMAL, Ill. - Xavier women's golf claimed victory at the Redbird Invitational this afternoon, winning its first tournament of the 2019-20 season. The Musketeers were led by two top-10 finishers in Mikayla Fitzpatrick and Andie Shukow.
The Musketeers led the field in par-4 scoring at 4.22 (+33) and total birdies (178) and shot even-par on par 5s.
Mikayla Fitzpatrick recorded her first top-five finish of the season with a total of 218 (+2). Fitzpatrick led the tournament in total pars with 40 and was tied for fifth in par-4 scoring at 4.
