CINCINNATI – Xavier women's basketball dropped a 62-51 BIG EAST contest with Seton Hall on Wednesday night at Cintas Center.
The Musketeers moved to 8-8 (1-4 BIG EAST), while the Pirates improved to 10-7 (2-4 BIG EAST). Xavier has now lost four straight games.
• Xavier hit three straight three pointers to open the game, including two from Deja Ross, to take an early 9-6 advantage. Seton Hall responded with a 13-5 run to take a 19-14 lead after one quarter of play.
• The Pirates led by as many as 11 (31-20) with 3:24 left in half before the Musketeers closed the stanza on a 10-2 run to make the score 33-30 at the break.
